The bartenders can sometimes be fewer than necessary and sometimes it does take a bit to get a beer (at least on a Friday and Saturday night), but the place is laid-back enough that it's not that big of a deal. It's a little smoky, which I'm not in love with, but the bar makes up for it with (from what I remember) $9 pitchers of Miller Lite and $12 pitchers of DosXX. The crowd is small, so it's a nice bar to go hang out in. Even shorn Kenny Rodgers came up to me and mentioned that it had been a while since I'd been there to sing! The place reminds me of Cheers - it seems like everyone knew everyone. Second guy is a tall drink of water, a black cowboy complete with boots, hat, and bolo tie, who can sing a MEAN George Strait and sits in the same spot at the bar each time.
